"Safe hotel, close to the Alhambra and shopping"
This hotel is right in the city center, surrounded by loads & loads of stores. It was a 20 minute walk to the Alhambra, which was the main reason for my stay. I stayed in a single bedroom, which was small, but just what I needed. I stayed on the third floor (room 307) and its window faced the courtyard (which meant that you faced other peoples' windows, so nothing to look at, but it allowed in natural light), which I preferred to facing the street as it was incredibly quiet. The bedroom was fairly narrow with a huge bathroom. I had the hotel breakfast one day and it had a good selection - eggs, yogurt, fruit, juice, croissants. I didn't talk with the staff much, but they seemed pleasant whenever I did.

"Casa 1800"
It was great, and I just loved it. It's clean, beautiful, fun, and, it has great style. Also, I liked the afternoon tea. If you like Peacfullness, calmness, and peach tea(or tea in general) you defiantly will love this hotel. The beds are nice, they aren't dirty, and they aren't to soft. The baths are on the big side, and they are clean and shiny. The shower was hard to work, so I would recommend the bath if you are a bath lover. One problem I had was that the wifi worked for some devises like my fathers htc1 but my mothers iPhone didn't. Also, iPads had lots of trouble. Computers where fine. The building itself is is great, the location is good(not that far from Alahambras entrance, just a few minetes by taxi). And it's near Nueva square, which is convenient for calling taxis and getting something to eat.The archetecture of the building is intressting, because there is a big courtyard, and most of the rooms look towards the patio which surounds it. It's great for drawing, and anyone can enjoy it. The hotel had shower caps and soap they gave which was good, and they had a mini refrigirator. The window is nice, and it brings a nice breeze, but it doesn't make the room to cold either, I didn't need to use an heat or air conditioner.

"A wonderful location."
In the center of the city with wonderful views of the mountains and the Alhambra from the bar's terrace. The staff were so helpful and friendly.for as we arrived by car it was a problem unloading as the hotel is on a major busy road. However the staff helped with the unloading and directions to a nearby Car park. If ever we are back in Granada we will definitely stay in the Hotel again.

"Excellent hotel in Granada"
The location on one if the prettiest streets right on the river you will see anywhere was great. It is about 1 minute from plaza nueva and was still quite quiet. The staff is spectacular. They were so, so helpful.

"This was the perfect hotel for our stay in Granada"
This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Granada. A short step away from a bustling shopping street, you enter a peaceful garden with orange trees, jasmine and fountains. The main building is a carefully converted 19th century palace and has an impressive staircase and cool rooms with high ceilings with carved wood and decoration. The staff at the reception are very welcoming, in fact all the hotel staff are charming, polite and helpful. We felt very well looked after. We stayed in the modernist wing of the hotel in a very clean and comfortable room. It overlooked the palace building and had an ingenious screen in front of the full-length glass windows made of white marble panels that softened the sunlight. The room had all the facilities we expected and was very good value. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on the first night, which was very good, and after visiting the Alhambra in the morning and exploring the nearby streets in the afternoon we decided the hotel restaurant would be a good bet for the second night as well, though there are plenty of restaurants nearby if you wish for a change. The hotel gardens are also a great place to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine.

"Good hotel and very central"
A good hotel, comfortable, central to all the sights and convenient. Our visit in April was for 4 nights and a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately for us the city was getting prepared for religious festivals and processions which for some reason meant constructing seating platforms directly outside the hotel. These were worked on, not during the day, but during the night and did affect our sleeping patterns. Would warn prospective clients to be aware of this just prior to Easter. Whilst not in the height of summer it was still warm and we were never certain if the air conditioning actually worked. It would have been good to open the windows but for the noise outside during the night hours. Overall an excellent hotel, good facilities and excellent breakfasts.

"Tranquility and grandeur"
The parador of San Francisco in Granada combines the best of modern comfort with the ordinal beauty of the monastery. Based within the Alhambra, ther is a view from every angle, and nowhere to look that is not beautiful. The food is excellent, and the proximity to the Alhambra attractions is excellent. You can walk to the town and keep fit, or catch the frequent local buses. Highly recommended.
