"I’ll start with the good- it was the perfect spot for us for vacation. The property was very clean and had plenty for us to do. We walked to the water and played in the pool and stopped for ice cream a couple times. The setup was great! The mattress however was awful. I felt like I was sleeping in hole- mostly because I was. So that part was definitely a let down. I didn’t rest well the entire trip but otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would likely go back again one day! "

"My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway with our two German Shepherds. We found this beautiful log home!! It was beautifully decorated and it has an amazing dog friendly yard! Our puppies were free to play in the yard and explore while being completely secure. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again! The owner was very easy to contact and communicate with. 10/10 for sure! Very convenient to a lot of trails/forest for hiking if the heat cooperates!"

"I absolutely loved everything about this host and her property. She is one of the best hosts I have yet to deal with, she went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The property is perfect for a solo traveler as myself, and I will definitely stay with her every time I come up to see my parents. "This was a nice space to be in, our golden absolutely loved it. I do wish there were more lights outside for when we wanted to be outside, it gets super dark out there. I also wish there was a door knob, that way we could close the door a little easier but the screened in porch was nice"

"Loved our stay! My husband and I came here after planning our wedding and ending his school semester. Such a fantastic place to enjoy doing NOTHING but also so much! We hiked, kayaked, hot tubbed and enjoyed the fire pit at night over looking the water. So peaceful and we will definitely be back!"

"The best part of the location is that the entire property is in it's natural state. The retreat blends in with the surrounding landscape. Why anyone would cut down the trees, fill in the swamp land to build a seawall, then build a giant house and have a yard to mow is beyond me. Kudos to the owner for respecting what makes the place a beautiful place to stay."

"This home was just as listed. Plenty of space and things to do. Unfortunately the river flooded days before we arrived but it did not stop us from enjoying the property. We couldn’t kayak but that was not a deal breaker. The host was very transparent and accommodating. I look forward to visiting again so that I can experience the river more!"

"My family and I were biking the tail around the lake and this was a good half way point to stop for the night. Place is perfect for 4 people , would have been nice to stay a few more nights."
