"Wonderful views of an amazing lake from this property, which has obviously been well-crafted and well-loved by the owners, who are friendly, accommodating, and professional. It's hard to choose where to spend your time between the main floor, the upper deck, or the water-level veranda/dock, but you can't really go wrong. Hiking and biking are just out the door, the Laggerhof is right up the hill for a meal or a drink, and the ferry stop next door will take you wherever you like (and back)...

"The apartment overall was very good and pleasant. If you arrive by a car the parking is just infront of the house so it's very comfortable. The only two downsides were that the bedroom was very small with a sloped ceiling so if you're a couple sleeping there can be a bit uncomforted and inconvenient, and that the stovetops didn't work."

They charge extra for the sauna and the hours are very limited (opens at noon! And closes early). Spa is more of an add on than a hotel experience. the breakfast was good and so was the location. Only recommend the lake view rooms otherwise your room overlooks a parking lot. The woman kindly offered an upgrade at check in but for a surcharge....
