"Very quaint and a little quirky. Excellent food, large bedroom. Although close to the road it was quiet and the village pretty. A good option if you don't want to be in the city centre. Helpful staff. One improvement suggestion would be to include a kettle in the bedroom as well as the coffee machine - especially for UK guests!"

"This is a perfect spot to enjoy the Alpine scenery. Very close to The Eagles Nest and right down the street from The Salt Mine. This area is beautiful. The hotel is lovely. Very clean, quiet, and the room is comfortable. We woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. Very relaxing!"

"I adore Salzburg and the Salzkammergut Lakes region of Austria and this is my go to hotel whenever I'm in the area. Very friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet in the mornings and some excellent evening meals in the restaurant. It's approx 25 minutes to Salzburg by car, the lakes of Fuschlsee, Wolfgangsee, Mondsee and Hintersee are all less than half an hour away and don't miss Plötz Wasserfall which is a mile and a half from the hotel. Looking forward to my next visit!"

"Beautiful grounds in the weather was beautiful in July as well. They had fans to help with the heat hotel staff are friendly and courteous. I wish the pool was open later than 8 PM. The hotel rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were clean and mine had a unbelievable view of the mountains kids able to rent an E-bike to ride up to Eagles Nest. "Cute little inn with delicious breakfast and dinner. Everything I ate was amazing. Staff is really friendly. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Services were sometimes a bit limited however. On a couple slower days there was no dining available or no breakfast. Wouldn’t be a problem except there aren’t many options nearby either. I didn’t have a car so I would have to take the bus into Salzburg if I wanted to eat dinner. Just plan ahead and confirm dining schedule with the staff so you can make...

Very nice hotel with unfortunate shower
"Checkin was a breeze. There was a bus of tourists checking in and I was concerned I’d be waiting an hour to check in behind them but I got waived right to the front as they were being checked in as a single group, which I greatly appreciated. Room was very nice and very clean. The room is absolutely sound proof. We chose to sleep with the window open and still could barely hear anything. Parking is included with your stay and the instructions were very clear. The singular downside was the shower. The shower head holder was loose and rusted so the shower head couldn’t stand upright, and when you tried to adjust the overall height, the whole thing would come apart. The water temperature also changed rapidly from ice cold to boiling lava hot as well. Even having had this happen however I absolutely would stay at the hotel again."
