"We just wanted a little place all to ourselves that felt warm and homely and this place did that for us. The log fire keeps the cottage toasty warm and the autumn leaves all around us was beautiful. The steps up can be slippery in the wet but that was to be expected with where the cottages were and with all the trees surrounding them. "

"Great location & hosts, and to bring our dogs was important for us and great property for this, very well thought after what people need, basics salt pepper bbq all great. Also the Spa is a bonus. Recommended to stay - PS go check out the Daylesford Cidery (especially week days) great place take the dogs relax wine beer cider."

"Lucini cottage is one of a small group of cottages set in secluded street just off the main road in Hepburn. All I can say, is WOW, what a gorgeous and welcoming place. We arrived on a very cold night and after a long drive we appreciated that the lights and gas log fire place were on to greet us. Beautifully decorated and very cozy and only few minutes drive to Daylesford town centre."

"The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay."

"This cottage ticked all the boxes for us -comfortable, well-furnished, and cute as a button. The bedroom has good bedside lamps for reading and we slept well. The kitchen and living space are well designed and attractively styled. The air-con cools the house nicely, and the fireplace looks very inviting for the winter months. But lovely as the interior is, our favourite spot was the front porch with its sunny aspect and restful view of trees. Hard to say who liked it more - us or our kelpie....

"Lovely 2 bedroom plus bungalow home close to the main street. Luxury linens, everything is lovely quality even the tea towels. Jane lives onsite in a studio and her sister is next door so help is always available. Only issue (not mentioned in the ad) was that one bedroom is separate to the house so not suitable for anyone who needs the toilet overnight in cold weather. Gorgeous vintage furniture and a very homely vibe throughout."

"So beautiful, the interior decorating so sympathetic with the house. The log fire, the view through the french doors over the elevated deck and the sense of space on top of the hill. We enjoyed the DVD player, the beautiful linen, electric blanket and all the little things like tea, milk and coffee. Thank you so much, we will be back."

"A beautiful old world cabin retreat! Perfect for a cosy and relaxing getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised how many luxurious touches there were while in keeping with the original miners cottage it is. The kitchenette is perfect for cooking porridge for breakfast and a nice meal for lunch or dinner if you don’t want to venture out all the time. Really lovely views and great bush walking tracks. A very nice and comfortable place to stay. Thank you to the foresight...

"Such a beautiful property with everything you need and walking distance from everything. Such wonderful relaxing views and the walk around the lake was such a treat. The owner was so supportive and answered all questions I needed promptly. I really have nothing to fault at all. If I return to Daylesford in the future, I know where I will be staying. You will not be disappointed. The photos don't match the complete beauty and tranquility of this property."
