It is also in a great location for hiking at Hanging Rock State Park, and for exploring the area. Danbury is like a time-capsule with lots of history and old buildings. The cabin is well equipped, check-in is easy, and the owners respond quickly if you have any questions."

There are other cabins nearby but we were not there during a busy time and most cabins were not occupied. We would stay here again if back in the area and felt we got good value for the money."

For our family of nine, with adults, teens and 4 year olds this cabin was not that suitable because of the many things in the house and with the restroom outside of the house. Though the outside was great. If you are with a group of Adults or with older kids and you love the camping vibe but want to have the comfort of staying in a house, this is the place to be. "Beautiful restoration of an older home. Very comfortably decorated. Great communication from the owners, and I loved that they stock milk and OJ in the fridge along with cereal and coffee. Lots of board games to play. WiFi is decent and was good enough to stream a movie, though apparently it can be spotty (nothing abnormal for the mountains). Cell service was ok with VZ. The property grounds are great. Unfortunately, we had a cold snap with snow, so we didn’t get to spend as much time outside...

Loved it. We were all very comfortable. It is exactly as described in the photos. It is cozy, warm, and inviting. Extremely clean and everything was perfect taste.
