The property was fantastic, location was the best and easy to walk to shopping, restaurants and many of the tourist sites. The building was a spice warehouse built in 1803. It was beautifully restored into a hotel with all the modern conveniences but yet retained the charm of the warehouse architecture. The staff was incredibly nice, knowledgeable of the places to visit and eager to help in every way. We loved our stay here

A good hotel but definitely not 5 star as it claims to be. The room I was in had no where to place your suit case so it had to be on the floor. The breakfast options were just ok. I’ve had better and more substantial breakfast options at 3 and 4 star hotels. The bed was very soft which is common in Scandinavia. That can be good for some people and bad for others. This hotel is a decent walk from the nearest metro station so while it’s an ok walk it’s on all cobble stones so not great when you are wheeling a suitcase. I couldn’t fault the staff though, they were excellent.

The location of this hotel was excellent, right on Nyhavn but at the end so noise was not an issue at all. Great daily breakfast and nice room service options if youre too tired to go out to eat every single night. The only minor issue was that my room was very dark as it faced a wall and the lamps did not provide enough light to make up for the lack of sunlight. The television service was quite poor as well and it kept shutting off completely in the middle of my watching something before bed which was annoying, but given how little time I spent in my room these issues were not terribly bothersome. The interior of the hotel was stylish and clean, and the best part was the prime location.

This hotel was perfect, hotel staff is fabulous, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is delicious. Room was clean and spacious, the location is wonderful, close to restaurants & shopping. Everything is walkable. Great selection for Copenhagen vacation!!

The property is in the prime location for Nyhaven. When everybody heads off to their hotels after a lively night in Nyhaven, residents merely walk to the end of the street. The sightseeing boats are outside too. The staff cannot do enough. Fabulous.

The property and rooms and beautiful, very clean and a comfortable welcoming presence throughout the hotel. The staff were wonderful, extremely helpful and friendly. A huge thank you to Lotte for checking us in and helping with everything we needed during our stay and to Sofia who made our breakfasts even better each morning! We got a very warm welcome upon arrival at the hotel and were given lots of help and advice. We were given an option to upgrade to a room with a view but we declined as we felt £228 on top of what we had already paid was a bit steep. As it was, our room was on the side of the building and we could see the main canal anyway. The room was clean and nicely decorated but quite small. We booked an executive queen. There wasn't any space for our luggage and only a small area to hang clothes on which basically took our coats. I'm not sure who needs a full blown ironing board. We could have done with some English breakfast tea though. The shower room was quite spacious but lacks privacy due to being very close to the bed and only being separated by an opaque screen. The beds were comfortable although the pillows too soft. The temperature was way too high and we had to open the balcony door at night. We liked the hotel but felt the room was a let down and definitely not 5 star. Breakfast was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The only time we were let down by staff was when being served at the bar by an older Italian gentleman who was very impatient whilst I was choosing my wine and started to serve another lady in the middle of our order. He was a little abrupt and made us feel like we were inconveniencing him. Overall, the location is great, the majority of the staff are wonderful, the breakfast is lovely but the room lacked space and overall comfort.

Yazmin greeted us after a 9 hr flight. She gave us an option between an available room that was comparable and had a much better layout than the Junior Suited we reserved. She gave us breakfast, lunch and dinner suggestions. She also made reservations to a fantastic restaurant Vaest for our first night. She was terrific. The hotel is lucky to have such a wonderful and helpful employee. It set the tone of the whole trip and my wife and I were so very happy to know that the hotel staff, the restaurant in the hotel and everyone were so helpful and kind. Great place to stay. I cannot wait to return with our children.

An excellent Comfortable Hotel with a View!
The hotel staff were very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The room had great views of the waterfront, boats and bustling activity outside, and was well located for the many harbour side restaurants that Nyhaven offers. The room was very clean and afforded every comfort. Breakfast was not to be missed and a nice way to start the day. I would highly recommend 71 Nyhaven

We had a wonderful experience at 71 Nyhavn! Great location within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants, very friendly staff full of recommendations, and cozy but comfortable rooms. The complimentary breakfast alone is worth a stay here, one of the very best spreads I've ever seen at a hotel (breads, Danish cheeses, meats, bacon, sausage, omelette bar, yogurts, juices, eggs cooked to your specification, sweets) with lots of variety. The pastries (all various Danish favorites) changed day by day depending upon the chef. Highly recommend this hotel, it's the embodiment of hygge!

The hotel is situated at the end of Neuhaven canal which is itself very popular but the hotel was quiet and enjoyable. The staff were pleasant and helpful with information. Breakfast was plentiful and great choice. Access from the airport is easy simply take the metro and a short walk to the hotel either down the quiet side of the canal or the more busier restaurant side. Neuhaven square is handy for canal and bus trips as well as the shopping district. We went for Christmas and markets are well accessible, we were lucky to see the local light festival take place outside on the canal.

Great location, comfortable bed and incredibly clean. I enjoyed many of the historical aspects of the hotel but I found the hallways quite narrow, and my room small. I didn't pay for a room with a view; unfortunately, my room was dark and looked out onto another building and some pipes. The connected restaurant, which runs the breakfast service, was very good for dinner as well. Overall, a nice stay but I expected more for the price.

Best location in Copenhagen. There was nothing I didn’t love about my stay at 71 Nyhavn. Very comfy bed + pillows, fantastic breakfast, cozy lounge area, excellent housekeeping and again, the perfect location. It will be my go-to for return trips to my favorite city.

This hotel was far better than I expected. The front desk staff was great. One gentleman gave me non-touristy restaurant recommendations and all were spot-on. (Rose Rose, a French restaurant, was amazing.) The room and bathroom were perfect. The room was quite large by European standards: there was space to sit (2 chairs and a coffee table). The bed was comfortable and the duvet an ideal weight. The bathroom was equally spacious and the shower was fantastic (hot water and ample pressure). The breakfast is worth every penny. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. It was also delicious. The location is hard to beat: 800m away from a metro stop, walkable to most everything in Copenhagen, and quite close to the most photographed street in the city without being part of it. When I go back to Copenhagen, this is where I will stay. Not even a question.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in November 2023 and were impressed. The location is fantastic, walkable to nearly all Copenhagen sights and close to the Metro. The immediate area is a popular dining area and quite safe. Our room was a smaller one without a great view, but it was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. The breakfast selections were of exceptional high quality as well.
