Hotel Parlament is brilliantly situated near the Parlament building, in a quieter part of the city but within easy reach of everything…definitely please that opted to stay on Pest side.
The hotel is modern and vibrant, but with a relaxed air that is welcoming.
The most impressive thing about this hotel is it's staff. I had reason to email the reception staff prior to my arrival and all of the replies were timely and very helpful.
This continued on arrival, with reception staff going out of their way to find out useful information etc.
Centrally located , 5 minutes walk from chain bridge . Priced accordingly other hotels nearby cheaper but excellent value for quality hotel .
Spa area very relaxing and included in our stay . Staff very helpful and polite bar and restaurants superb .
The Marriot Hotel in Budapest is well positioned in the centre of the city and overlooking the waterfront - however do not expect quiet as the waterfront is very busy, noisy; and the noise can be heard in the rooms. The rooms are comfortable, the facilities first class and all you would expect from the Marriot chain. The service is impeccable from the reception, to concierge to restaurant and bar staff - nothing is too much trouble, and all with a smile!
If there is one criticism it is that internet is not freely available - it is available but for a price which is quite high. Free internet access is now common in most hotels and therefore surprising not to be the case at the Marriot.
Nice stay, at an affordable price in the city centre, close to all sightseeing places. Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms and bathrooms are small but modern and clean and . Beds are confortable and rooms were quiet even though were facing the main street. Vaci street, Gellert Baths and Sikla templom are all at a 5 mins a short walk in straight line towards Danube and Sabadsag Hid. Only one comment on the pool and sauna program as during the week is not open in the mornings (open 3 pm till 9pm) and as we stayed only one night we could not use these facilities before check out. Also try the Pesti Sorcsarnok Pub and restaurant on 14 Vamhaz Korut where you can have the same Hungarian cuisine as on Vaci street but at half the price.
Great hotel , next to the Danube river , right in downtown.Very nice and quiet, excellent location just a minute walk from main pedestrian street and River.I Will definitely stay there again .We loved the size of the rooms and sofabed setting as well.It made my stay in Budapest very enjoyable. If you are looking for a Great service, relaxed , small boutique style of hotel this is it.Great job Marriott! Absolutely recommended!!
