"Loved this hotel….. the room (water view) was huge, big bathroom well appointed. The building is really quite something. Ok, the windows were original and not particularly sound proof so it was a little noisy, but this didn’t bother us. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the lovely sitting rooms….. I will go back if I can…"

"Great overnight stay. The hotel is conveniently situated at the entrance to the city so easy to park and then a 10 minute walk into the centre along the river. Good sized room (we had a family room) which was comfortable. We didn't have breakfast but it did look nice so we definitely do that next time. Lovely outside pool area and a really friendly welcome. We love Orleans so this is a great stopover for us"

Recommend asking for a room at the front and on the 1st floor. If you are there in winter probably much more comfortable. Could have done with 2 pillows each too"

"We stayed 5 nights in early May. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by a nice couple who has prepared for your every need. The spacious apartment has modern conveniences, plenty of lighting, closet storage, and quality cooking equipment in the kitchen. They have put decorating touches everywhere. Everything is airy and bright but maintains French charm. And, most importantly, quiet country living in a chateau. We took morning/evening walks on the extensive chateau grounds. There were manicured shrubs/trees and flowers everywhere. There is a moat and resident swans. The owners have bicycles, so we were able to ride on the local bike path (plenty of longer bike paths that are also suitable for walking). We were near the Loire Valley chateaus and wineries and visited several near Amboise, Vouvray, Tours, and Bloise during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay."
