"I really enjoyed staying in Kate and Felicity's space. The bath and being able to have a fire were treats and I love the history of the place, and all the love and care that Kate put into restoring the miners cottages. Though this cottage is not old, much care has been taken to create old world charm within it. I didn't anticipate the road noise, but overall it didn't disturb the tranquility for me. Waking to birdsong was a joy."

"Henrietta’s is a gorgeous cosy comfy cottage with everything you could possibly want/need for your stay. It was scrupulously clean and stocked with lots of lovely touches like breakfast foods, chocolates by the beds, lovely bathroom products, books and games, the list goes on. Very comfy beds with electric blankets if it’s a chilly night. Our host, Kerri, was a pleasure to deal with. We’ll definitely be back."

"The property was excellent and very clean. Amenities were very good and comfortable beds and pillows. Heating in lounge was cosy and rooms had individual aircon units which were independently managed. Very well equipped kitchen and great a great position. Nice to have a backyard area to bbq and enjoy. I'd definitely go back for another visit."

We found general road signage to be less than satisfactory when trying to follow maps and attractions brochures. Attractions need a lot more follow up signs from initial start points. Many street names are missing. In our opinion for Maldon to become a traveler preferred destination maps and signs require significant work. As we do not feel we are stupid, we must attribute difficulty with navigation in and around Maldon an important issue to be addressed. Overall our experience was positive but it could have been better. Laurie"
