Situated on the northern end of San Antonio’s harbour, Calo des Moro is a small yet beautiful beach. Take a break from the busy party scene in town on this small cove and listen as the bars provide a soundtrack to the sunset. Due to its size this beach tends to get fairly crowded but much less so than San Antonio Beach. Calo des Moro is the perfect place for a family vacation due to its easy accessibility and shallow waters.
This beach is the perfect spot for a family holiday or romantic get away with a partner. Buy supplies for a picnic in town and lay down on a blanket on the sand. Rent a pedalo from a nearby beach kiosk and paddle over the calm blue water.
Calo des Moro is a west-facing beach and is known for its breathtaking sunsets. According to local tradition, the setting sun is a signal for the parties to start and there is a sense of anticipation as the sun goes down over the water. After dark is when the real parties and nightlong dancing truly begin.
San Antonio is only a short walk away and provides infinite enjoyment as it is home to some of the island’s best clubs and bars. Known as the “Clubbing Capital of the Universe”, here you can visit the West End district for its house music scene and sprawling bar strip. Alternatively, Passeig de ses Fonts is situated along the harbour and features many delicious restaurants for those seeking something more low-key.
Sunset Strip is just a short walk away and is full of mixed delights. It is home to a number of cafés and bars from which to view the sunset. Listen as lounge and techno music pours onto the beach, providing a soundtrack to the day and into the evening.
Calo des Moro is situated on the west coast of Ibiza. It is a quick 10-minute walk away from the centre of San Antonio, the second-largest town in Ibiza. San Antonio’s port has many ferries arriving from mainland Spain, as far as Barcelona. Ibiza Town is around half an hour away by car.
