The Guide Post Hotel was an excellent hotel for an overnight stay in Bradford. We were in Bradford to visit family so admittedly didn't spend that much time there but all of the staff were friendly, the room and other facilities were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was tasty. The cooked breakfast was made to order and there was plenty to choose from in terms of the buffet breakfast. All in all it was excellent value for money and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

We recently stayed over for the night after going to the local rugby match. The location was ideal as it was 10 minutes drive from the town centre but the hotel itself was in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable.
It is a very quiet hotel, but the staff are so lovely, it just feels like coming home. Because I was traveling on my own, the staff had a care for me that went beyond what you'd find in a city hotel. The business is proudly family owned, and the hospitality exemplifies that. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in Bradford! Thank you so much to everyone at Dubrovnik for looking after this little Sydney girl!
The room was big and comfortable the only problem was the shower didnt work and no water was running through the taps for a bath but luckily the sink had running water and the acar park could have been salted as the ice and snow was making the carpark impossible for people to exit the the hotel but staff were helpful enough to give cars a push or to shovel them out. I would book the hotel again
Plus points are the fantastic cheap price & that it is within 10-15mins walk of the town centre.
Negatives include the area the hotel is located in is run down, derelict buildings within 2-3mins walk.
Rooms back onto a courtyard where the pub drinkers downstairs can stay out until 11:30pm - therefore if you need to be up early the next day (like I did) be aware of this, because you wont get an early night.
Service was not as professional as other hotels I have been at. Came across like they were surprised someone was staying there.
Overall, if you want to stay here, its price over quality.
