We have stayed at this property several times in the past year and found it a good value. Our most recent stay, in late December 2023, was a shockingly different experience. The bathroom was dirty - not cleaned before we arrived. The sink was stopped, the toilet was stopped, I corrected these problems myself, because there was only one staff person on premises and, though kindly, she had no ability to remedy. There was poor lighting in the bathroom, a lamp with dangerously loose wiring next to the bed, a bicycle that could not be adjusted in the exercise room, no cleaning supplies in the exercise room. I did contact the general manager several times, as instructed to do by the front desk staff person, but have gotten no reply. Therefore, I am leaving this review. Don't know what to say. These are solvable problems.

The area that the hotel is surrounded by is amazing. Me and my fiancé do not know the area but was pleasantly surprised to see the hotel is walking distance from several dining restaurants, etc in 2 separate plazas. As far as inside the hotel is concerned, for the first night we were given the standard room, which is fine since this is what we purchased, however walking inside the room I immediately spelled a “old dated” smell. There was carpet in the room so it was very obvious the heavy smell was coming from there. It was extremely pungent in the smell. Very dissatisfying to be honest. The kitchen cabinets were extremely dirty. I do not believe it was cleaned at all. The furniture in the room was also extremely dated. The next morning we upgraded to a bigger room that the front desk agent was kind enough to give us at no additional charge. Overall stay inside the hotel, it needs serious upgrading for the pricing point. But if you need a place to lay your head, and be close to shopping centers in a safe neighborhood then this is the place.

Least amenities possible, grabs d go breakfast was a few trial size granola bars even at 715am. Very small bathroom for two double beds, tiny shampoo and soap, had to buy trial size at Walmart nearby. Towels not bath size. Disappointed will stay next store next time.

I like the convenience but I did not like that there was a lot of dog hair in the bathroom and the pull out couch was dirty with a lot of dog hair my kids could not even sleep on it.

The property was disgusting. I don't believe that the property staff does any sort of walk throughs of the property at all, inside or out. Dirty linens and towels on the floor outside of the entryways to the rooms. Exterior doors propped open with water bottles/door chocks (unsecure). First room had gnats and smelled like spaghetti. Had to switch rooms. Room cleanliness not the best. A lot of paint and touch-ups needed throughout the entire property. Loud and noisy people. It is located right next to the Howard County Government Building, so I believe they may use this property for low income housing. Not an excuse, the property should live up to the standards of Extended Stay. Staff didn't seem to care about anything, didn't even ask if I enjoyed my stay. TERRIBLE! AVOID!

Dirty smelly hotel
We arrived pretty late about 1:30am. Upon checking in we proceeded to our room. The smell through the hallway was a mix of snake and mildew. We entered our room to see balls of hair on the floor, cracks in the walls and cabinet's, a filthy tub, no handle on the bathroom door, cigarette burns in the reclining chair. One light didn’t work and we were told just to take the lightbulb from the other light. There was no hand soap in the room so my daughter asked for some at the front desk where she was told they had none. We pulled some sanitizer from the car and decided to get some rest. Upon pulling out the sofa bed we were met with what looked like fecie stains on the sheets. We asked the desk for sheets and blankets for the pull out couch and told them the status of the sheets no apology just gave us a top sheet and said that’s all they have. The next day I brought the sheet to the desk and told them we wouldn’t be staying another night. They asked me to remove the sheet from the counter. I said no you wanted my child to sleep on it you can touch it.
