"Very pleased with this hotel, so we came back when we retuened to Almaty. Very clean property. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable, with super clean comfortable bed. Wifi acceptable but could be improved. Front desk was extremely helpful with all needs. In a very nice neighborhood, and is located close to major train station, supermarket, major bus routes into city, and local parks. Will be happy to stay here again in the future."

"After a few years going backwards, it seems this hotel took a new air (management) and is going back on track. The location is ideal, yet, they have to do something with the car entrance. On weekends the small street leading to the hotel is used as a parking lot for the theater beside and the cable car facility. "We weren't very pleased with this place. For starters, we found out upon arrival that we had to pay 6000 tenge for two people/two nights. Below is the only mention of potential fees: "Hotel fees The price DOES NOT include any applicable hotel service fees, charges for optional incidentals (such as minibar snacks or telephone calls), or regulatory surcharges. The hotel will assess these fees, charges and surcharges upon check-out." The staff claimed this was a newly imposed tax from Feb 2023....
