"We stayed for a weekend trip for our son's 4th birthday. Staff was helpful and hotel overall clean. My only gripe is that after our first night housekeeping cleaned everything but the bed. They cleaned everything else so hard that they threw away some of our stuff. No biggie, they were things like a shower cap, baggies to put toiletries, and our kid's leftover nuggies. At least I brought extra, but we had to change sheets ourself."

Frequently asked questions

What is Dublin like for travellers on a budget?
Dublin has cheap accommodation options and a variety of places to visit, making it a great holiday choice for budget-conscious travellers. You can find ways to save money while getting to know this destination, which is home to attractions such as The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, Indian Run Falls Park and Red Rooster Quilts.
When is the best time for a budget trip to Dublin?
Weather will likely play an important role when you plan your trip to Dublin, but bear in mind that cheaper options are usually available when the weather isn't as good. The hottest months are usually July and August, with an average temperature of 22°C, while the coldest months are January and February, with an average of 1°C. Average annual precipitation for Dublin is 1235 mm.
What is there to see and do in Dublin?
Dublin attracts visitors with its popular zoo and fantastic dining options, and offers plenty to see and do without spending a fortune. You can budget for the top local attractions on your list, such as Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and Easton Town Center, and then make time for other wallet-friendly activities. Take in the local culture at Dublin Arts Council and Newport Music Hall, or visit other spots like Ohio History Center.
How can I get to Dublin and get around on a budget?
Looking at these ways to get around Dublin is a smart way to keep your trip affordable. The closest airport is Port Columbus International Airport (CMH), situated 14 mi (22.5 km) away.
