What you can expect

Enjoy a half day Tigerfish fishing on the Komati River and Eswatini close to the Mozambican border. These ferocious fish are found in two rivers in South Africa namely, The Komati and Pongola River.
Tiger fish grow very slowly and can take up to 14 years to reach maturity therefore 'catch and release' is practised as not to kill of the species. Tigerfish have interlocking, razor-sharp teeth, along with streamlined, muscular bodies, and are extremely aggressive and capable predators who often hunt in groups.
It's one of the hardest-fighting freshwater fish and is also renowned for its escape tactics. Landing one of these beasts is a feat on its own.
