Santo Domingo de Guzmán is the capital and most populous city of the Dominican Republic and one of the oldest cities in the Caribbean. Its historic centre is walled and paved, the Colonial Zone has buildings dating back to the 16th century, including the cathedral, which was the first built in the New World.
Santo Domingo has a population of approximately 4,000,000 million inhabitants in 2020 and was divided into municipalities: Santo Domingo Leste, Distrito Nacional, Santo Domingo Oeste and Norte.
We leave the hotel where we will take a journey of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes in super comfortable land transport until we reach the capital of the Dominican Republic, visiting:
Parque Los Tres Ojos, Farol de Colón, Zona Colonial, Alcázar de Colón, National Pantheon or Pátria, Calle de la Damas, Puerta del Conde, Parque Colón, Catedral Primada de América, typical Dominican restaurant, typical shopping centre, Malecón and Presidential streets or National Palace.
