Overview

Sandy Bottoms offers personalised & boutique snorkel tours, island hopping, & sailing lessons to the offshore islands on the East Coast of Puerto Rico. Our tours are designed around you and your parties desires. Our boat holds a maximum of six passengers so that we may provide you with the best service and experience. Snorkelling equipment, paddle boards, and fun floats are included in this trip. We also provide a brief snorkel and paddle board lesson upon request.

Our philosophy is to share our love for sailing and the ocean with you. We adapt our daily schedules around you and your sailing, snorkelling goals.

All of our trips also include a large selection of starters including a gourmet cheese and fruit tray, guacamole, hummus, assorted snacks and cookies. Our Ship Bar is also open for your enjoyment. We offer rum, vodka, tequila, and white wine, along with a selection of organic juices, soft drinks, and drink mixers. Our local beer is also onboard.

  • Children under 4 are not allowed for their own safety. The ever changing ocean conditions & our boat size are factors.
  • Pregnant woman are not allowed because of the ocean conditions and the distance to a nearby hospital. You and your baby's safety are our top priority.

Activity itinerary

Sandy Bottoms Sailing offers personalised snorkelling, and island hopping tours to the offshore islands of the East Coast of Puerto Rico. Sail with style and comfort in our 47 ft Beneteau Sailboat, while taking in the beautiful views. Our tours are always private (max of 6 guests) and designed around you & your parties' desires. Snorkel, swim, relax on a float, sun bathe on the deck, sip cocktails on a white sandy beach! You and your personal captain will pick the best destination based on ocean conditions, wind, and visibility for snorkelling. Our sail takes about one hour to our destination and an hour return. This leaves us with 4 hours to enjoy snorkelling, swimming, paddle boarding, sun swimming, and the beach. Depending on ocean conditions, we visit Palomino, Icacos, and/or Lobos. We do not sail to Culebra. A large selection of starters/snacks & our full ship bar are included. Please feel free to bring additional food or drinks if you desire.
