Our first stop will be the UNESCO-listed Roman archaeological site from the IV century- Felix Romuliana. This well-preserved site was a luxury residence from periods of significant expansion and glory, about which evidence preserved architecture and beautiful mosaics. Romuliana archaeological site is attractive to tourists due to its remarkable state and beauty. From a local guide you will learn more about Felix Romuliana and which interesting ritual was done for the last time in Roman Empire over here on a nearby hill Magura.

Our next stop in exploring ancient Roman heritage will be in the nearby city of Zajecar. Over there is a modern museum with an excellent exhibition and original mosaics that were found on the Felix Romuliana sight.
