Museum of Geological Formations. If you want to dive deeper into the geologic history of Meteora, this is a great stop after your tour. It’s open from 8am to 3pm and entry is free. Note: This 7.89+ miles-long tour covers the essentials of Meteora in 3-4 hours.
Holy Monastery of Saint Nicholas Anapafsas at Meteora

But this monastery isn’t just big. It’s also the whole reason there are so many incredible monasteries in the first place!

The history of this monastery is a little sketchy, in part because it was built by different people at many different time periods. Some evidence suggests the earliest construction may have begun in the mid-1300s, but the bulk of the monastery likely dates back to sometime around the 1470s.
