“Beecome” a beekeeper for a day! For all the Bee enthusiasts among us and everyone else, this bike tour will be an unforgettable experience. We depart from the Alpha Cycling Holidays office on our fat bikes and cycle over the hills towards the bee farm, enjoying spectacular panoramic views on both sides. ​ After a warm welcome by two local beekeeping experts, we put on a suit and head into an apiary. Here we will see an open hive and a frame with bees. We will taste different kinds of pure honey. ​ We will even open active hives. Bring your camera if you would like a picture of you holding the frame in your hand. While you gaze at bees inside a glass observation hive, your guide will share interesting facts about a bee's life. ​ Depending on the season and the productivity of the hive you will help extract and taste fresh honey or collect fresh royal jam or pollen, another big moment you cannot miss. Afterwards you have the opportunity to buy products from the producer.
