With this tour you will visit the Uros floating islands in a private kayak and the natural island of Taquile in a speedboat.
We will pick you up from the hotel at 06:30 am. We go to Esteves Island where we will be our starting point, before starting the tour we will have a little safety talk and about the correct use of the kayak. Then together with a professional guide we will paddle for 1 hour from the bay to the floating islands of the Uros. On the way you will have a spectacular view of the biodiversity of Lake Titicaca's flora and fauna. Then we will meet with the group, you have 1 hour and 15 minutes to share experiences with organised families who will welcome us, the tour guide will explain about the ancestral customs of the natives and the construction of their islands, if you wish you can ride on one of their reed rafts optional. We continue the trip to Taquile for 1h and 20 min. Upon arrival, we will walk for 30 min. to the town square while enjoying nature and traditional arches. Taquile is characterised by its fine textile handicrafts and traditional clothing that show a variety of natural colours, designs and symbolism of the Andean cosmovision, then you will have typical lunch. At 14:00 hrs we leave the island to Puno arriving at the port at 15:30 hrs. Transfer to your hotels, end of the service.
