We will kayak down the Santa María River in the Sierra Gorda of Querétaro. After seeing each other at the meeting point we will register and go to the river, being there we will start with a talk about the activity and the river that we will descend. We will give you a safety talk and how to handle the kayak to enjoy the river in a safe and fun way (the activity is done in a section of the river with category 1 rapids, suitable for people without experience and the type of kayak we will use is uncovered kayak). After the talk we will put on the equipment and practice the spindle of the kayak. Already being ready we will begin the descent; we will go through pools where the water is calm and we will have the opportunity to observe the landscape, flora and fauna of the river; Between each pool is the most interesting part of the descent: Los Rápidos; there we will row practising what we have learned, enjoying the waves, the speed of the water and the adrenaline. Halfway through the tour we will stop for a while to swim and relax. The descent ends where the Ayutla River joins the Santa María River.
