Depart from Durban at 6am and head off to St Lucia where we begin the tour with a 2 hour hippo and croc boat cruise in the St Lucia Estuary. This is followed by lunch at 12:00 noon (own expense). thereafter we go into the Isimangaliso Wetlands Game Reserve for a game drive. We depart for Durban in late afternoon arriving at around 6.30pm.

In St Lucia Estuary, enjoy a leisurely hippo and croc boat cruise around. Keep an eye out for crocodiles and hippos as you meander through wetland waters, along with possible sightings of eagles, vultures, African broadbills and dozens of other bird species. Enjoy onboard snacks (own expense) as you travel, savouring the surrounding scenery. This day trip includes the expertise of a professional guide.

Thereafter, break for lunch before embarking on a game drive. In Isimangaliso, the game drive will take you through some of the most stunning scenery in Africa. As you explore the reserve, you will have the opportunity to see many animals such as elephant, rhino, buffalo, giraffe and many others as well as numerous other species of mammals, birds, and reptiles.
