What you can expect
Spend a day in Hue to discover Thien Mu Pagoda and Royal Tombs of the Emperors on Dragon Boat and Private Car. Today you can choose your own option to visit Pagoda with 1 Tomb, or Pagoda with 2 Tombs, or Pagoda with 3 Tombs (please read the details of each option carefully before booking, as we have diffetent included sites for visiting with different prices in the options).
First, you board the dragon boat after a pickup from your hotel in Hue. Take a 20-minute boat cruise on the Perfume River to visit the oldest pagoda in Hue: the Thien Mu Pagoda.
Admire this stunning 17th-century Buddhist Pagoda located on a hill overlooking to the Perfume River. Explore the structure as you visit each of its 7 floors.
Afterwards, return to private car to travel to Minh Mang Tomb. Reach Minh Mang Tomb, famous for beautiful landscape and architecture to learn about life of our kings with many hundred wives and concubines.
Next, continue by car to the elaborate Tomb of King Khai Dinh. This is the smallest tomb of the Nguyen Emperors, but took the longest to build. This is only tomb built with a blend of Western and Eastern architectural styles.
The last stop will be Tu Duc Tomb, the only one tomb finished when King was still alive. So this was place for Emperor Tu Duc to live and work at the end of his life before he died.
Get dropped off back at your hotel in Hue at the end of the tour.
