The honey tasting experience begins…
by walking down the path of our picturesque village, Myli, among traditional houses, cisterns, donkeys, age-old trees and small streams.
The hosts, Gabriel and Marianna love bees and beekeeping and are delighted to share their knowledge and experiences.
We’ll talk about…
this unique, precious creature, the bee and learn fascinating facts about it.
the bees’ colonies, their lives, their behaviour and all the supreme beehive products we enjoy because of them.
the bees’ important work, how essential they are to our lives and how we can help them.
We’ll also find out about beekeeping secrets, about the beekeeper’s life and work and their equipment.
What we’ll do…
Taste various kinds of honey, from various areas and various seasons and try pollen, propolis and beeswax cream.
Try a few different kinds of treats combined with beehive products.
Try a beekeeper’s suit on & take pictures.
