We will arrive at the famous first pre-Hispanic empire of Peru, discovered by Julio C. Tello in 1919 and that in 1985 was declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Chavín is a complex ceremonial centre, built around 1500 - 500 BC, of which the monumental part is known, which is comprised of a set of massive-looking buildings considered temples. You will visit the Plaza Mayor, the Black and White Staircase, the Building A, Portico de las Falcónidas, Plaza Circular, Cabezas Clavas, the galleries and the Lanzón (impressive stone sculpture in the shape of a knife).
