Overview

An exciting 7-day tour by Almaty region: you'll visit all famous natural and historical attractions - highland lakes, Tien Shan Mountains, waterfalls, Charyn canyons (all!).

Almaty region is big, and distances are long. But the itinerary is designed in a logic way - we tried to minimise driving between locations so it looks smooth and comfortable. This is a mid-season trip: the places included are perfect in March-May and September-October.

In spring, you'll enjoy the views of blooming endless steppes, covered with “carpets” of red tulips and poppies. During a Autumn season, you will be amazed by the riot of colours in the foothills of the Tien Shan (definitely worth seeing).

The tour includes accommodation at guest houses owned by local families, as well as tent camping in nice natural spots.
