This overnight tour takes you to the South of Morocco to admire the spectacular desert scenery, beautiful beaches, a camel market, and Fort Bou-Jerif. Along the way enjoy Moroccan dishes like fish tagine and meet friendly local residents.

From Agadir, go to the spectacular Youssef Ben Tachfine Dam for a panoramic view and head to the pre-Saharan country for the first sign of sand dunes. Visit Morocco's former silver capital, Tiznit, and stop for tea on the way to the beautiful beaches of Mirleft.

Enjoy fish tagine, salad, and dessert on the beach of Legzira in Sidi Ifni. Notice the dramatic change in scenery upon arrival in Guelmim, the “Gateway to the Desert” due to its location on a historic trade route, known for the “blue men,” wearing indigo robes of pre-Saharan nomads.

At Fort Bou-Jerif, named after the French fortress nearby, check-in to a khaima, or nomad tent, before a dinner of camel tagine. If you're lucky, spot eagles hunting and then turn in for the night. After breakfast, visit a camel souk where herders and drivers buy and sell sheep, goats, and camels.

Return to Agadir via Massa—a large natural wildlife area, home to nearly extinct Bald Ibis—and have lunch with Chez Brahim, the friendliest Berber you'll ever meet. Feast on salads, turkey kebabs, chicken and vegetable tagines, local treat of semolina and amlou (almond sweet paste) with cinnamon. Then visit a pottery maker to admire the more renowned craftsmanship.
