Zanita Whittington is a photographer, model and blogger originally hailing from Esperance in Western Australia. These days when she’s not travelling the globe working, she divides her time between Australia and Stockholm. You’ll also catch her on Foxtel’s ‘Fashion Bloggers’ TV show. Zanita first started her blog in 2006 and it has recently been re-launched, now providing readers with not only a behind the scenes look into the world of fashion and beauty but also with articles and advice on travel, photography, social media and personal growth. Where have you been recently?

Sydney, New York, Hong Kong, Dubai and Dallas

Florence, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Amsterdam

What are your favourite Australian hotels?

I love the Grand Hyatt Melbourne not only because it’s centrally located, and right beside my absolutely favourite restaurant Chin Chin, but also because the Club Lounge is wonderfully private and checking in has a very exclusive feeling about it. The rooms come with some of the best views in the city too.

And international favourites?

The Peninsula Hong Kong is one hotel that checks boxes I never even knew I had. Every staff member is gracious, polite and helpful and the quality of service is second to none. The rooms have endless conveniences – from a pop up make-up vanity in a desk to a draw filled with every charger cord you could ask for and a TV you can watch from the bathtub. I never wanted to leave!

What has been your best travel experience?

Visiting Tokyo – it was like being in an alternative reality and the people are so welcoming plus the food is amazing!
