Manager operator was very nice and accommodating. She always asked for feedback. Set in a very busy street so road noise was not great. I recommended additional seals on the ranch slider doors as, when locked, it had a gap of about 5mm which would allow for more noise. Space was tidy. Heatpump/aircon in good working order. Bed was too hard for me & my daughter. Close proximity to Hamilton CBD. Plenty of parking. Kitchen pots and pans had protective coating scraped off. No sharp nor cerated knives to slice fresh bread nor tomatoes etc. Suited us for our needs at the time. Don’t expect anything flash.

Overall, very good stay. But breakfast rather expensive for quality of food offered.

The staff at this hotel is very accommodating and helpful and should be commended. Unfortunately this area has a large homeless population that made walking locally challenging especially later at night. Street noise is also an issue for sleeping.

Nice bed, clean and well equipped, everything you would need for a night or two, just thought a proper handrail in the shower would be nice for older people.

Clean, comfortable, not much to look at from the outside but just fine as a place to stay. Do note, however, that you’ll have to go a long way out of your way to get the key from Ashford Manor.

Nice quiet place in the middle of a rural region. You get to know the owner over breakfast, while being served with a unique style of food. It was great!

Room cleanliness petfect. Spa bath great. Helpful and friendly staff
