Excellent value, delightful staff and a true gem!

I loved everything about the property The ocean view was most beautiful. I can’t wait to return!

When checking in I was offered an upgrade to the room. Agent was not clear on cost. She said she could offer it at 50% discount and showed us a price not saying it was per night or with all other fee's that go along with it. I thought the price was the total amount for the stay. I was extremely shocked at check out and disappointed. The same agent basically said you signed for it and don't let the door hit you on the way out. We have enjoyed your resort, resorts for many years. This is the last time we will ever come to Mauna Lani. I can't believe I'm even taking the time to write this, that's how disappointed we are. J. Great location, lots of restaurants and close to the beach. The building is old, wallpaper is falling off in some places. The hallways and elevators are very stuffy. Uniform breakfast menu Seats in dining room and outside are smeared with bird droppings, enjoy your meal. When making cocktails, some bartenders apply pineapple decorations with hands without gloves.

Absolutely amazing stay! The hotel is perfectly located—just steps from Waikiki Beach and super close to shops, restaurants, and even summer events like the festival we caught. They offer valet parking, but we found cheaper parking just across the street at the zoo so there’s many options. The hotel has an ABC store inside which was super convenient. We also loved the Beach Candy shop where hotel guests can rent free complimentary beach gear. The staff was incredibly kind, and the ocean view from our room was breathtaking. Would 100% stay here again!
