The rooms, bar, and common areas were very clean and the staff was friendly. My only concern was the very dark hallways within the building. I'm sure there was security and it was meant to portray a modern industrial feel, however, traveling alone as a woman, I didn't feel overly comfortable walking through the halls at night.

Another great stay at the QT. This is an excellent boutique hotel, which on the one hand keeps the vibe of a boutique, but on the other is big enough for a full restaurant, and wonderful rooftop bar. Highly recommended when you are in Melbourne.

A pretty decent place especially for longer vacations. The hotel’s location is excellent with just a short walk to the train and tram stations and the centre of the cbd is just one stop away. The hotel’s facilities are a bit tired but it’s kept running smoothly. The housekeeping is good, consistent and thorough even though there’s no housekeeping over the weekends and public holidays. Any extra things that were needed for the kitchen or for the room were provided immediately. I was a bit surprised that the safe in the room can only be used with a deposit payment. The few drawers beneath the safe shelf were kept locked up for some reason and could not be accessed either. The hotel is located right across the Royal Botanical Gardens, which is one of Melbourne’s top tourist attractions and so it’s a bonus. There are some decent cafes around the hotel and more eateries on the street right behind the hotel. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay and the location of the hotel especially was fantastic!!

Easy check in process The facilities were first class. The food was yummy and the mini bar was probably the biggest and varied choices I’ve ever seen in a hotel room.

Ting staff member was fabulous - let us check in early 😊. The hotel is very convenient to transit. Clean room, happy to stay again.
