Bula! Saphire was a beautiful place to bring together a family group, but could benefit from a couple of simple changes. It’s a stunning location at the top of the hill, and perfect if you like a bit more solitude/happy to travel to do things. The pool is beautiful but on the cold/refreshing side because it’s in the shade. The house is huge, so could easily host a crowd. It’s reasonably set up for cooking but simple things like dishwashing liquid are missing. Lots of pretty run down/needs fixing but if you are relaxed about that for the price you are paying than that’ll suit. The bedrooms are also huge, they could do with some basic decor (like a piece of art) and definately lamps because they are super bright/like hospital rooms. All the staff we met were very lovely, inc the Jo who looked after the pool.. Ravi the driver is such a nice guy/easy to communicate with and always timely. We found the main house manager/contact lovely but not great at responding both before and during the visit, which made things a bit tricky. Hope this is helpful for others :)

Everyone is so welcoming, the weather was perfect for us, highest 74°, water was not hot it was room temperature, and very swimmable. Special thanks to Nancy who was super kind and helpful, Carlos who gave us a sunset tour on our first night here and was patient, friendly, and informative, and Kasi who remembered our preferred cocktail, the boat crew was amazing, the rest of the staff (can't remember your name but I take back wonderful memories!). Pictures don't do it justice, it's paradise on earth, I can't wait to come back!

Clean rooms the house was absolutely perfect for our wedding group. We had some of the most amazing views and it was in a perfect location near the airport. An issues we had were dealt with immediately.

Beautiful property with very helpful staff. Casual restaurant had good food and wine. Great location. Would definitely stay again!

The staff are incredible. Sail went above and beyond to get me here and everyone is so welcoming. They remember names and where everyone is from. I don’t know how they do it but I have never met a more welcoming people than those in Fiji, especially here. They have snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards ready to be taken out at anytime. I had such a great and relaxing stay. Would absolutely recommend anyone looking at Fiji to look here. The property could use a little TLC but I think that’s just life on an island with lots of humidity, wind and salt water.

We booked 2 glamping villas, one for us and the other for our 17 & 22 year old sons. From the moment we were picked up by the red boat, we were made to feel so welcome with everyone we met giving us a huge genuine grin and a “Bula”. The people, the food, the pool, the snorkelling and the glamping villas were all awesome. Simi makes the best lemon, lime & bitters at the bar. The glamping villas were next level with all of the amenities of a hotel room while also feeling like you were camping on the beach. We’re already planning a return trip next year. Highly recommend!
