Staff, the BEST; clean room, great breakfast selection; went to the nearby shopping mall (Westfield East Garden) .

This hotel is in a fantastic location and it is a very nice hotel but it should not be billed as a 5 star luxury hotel. It is really a 3.5 star hotel. The biggest complaints are no elevator, they do have a dumb waiter for bags. The windows are single pane (barely). When people walk ups and down the Suez Canal or Nurses walk you can hear every conversation. There is a bar behind the property that gets loud as well. Next is no bottled water but the staff did tell me I could feel free to drink out of the sink in the room or go to the bar and get it from the tap there. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it to friends or family…no, not billed as a luxury hotel.

We were so looking forward to staying here the reception was lovely however moving up to the room the room was not as described it was tired , dirty skirting boards bathroom was very poor not as described we asked to be moved . This took four days ! We got moved to a higher floor the lift wasn’t working there was only two ! The new room had been refurbished the bathroom was a lot better but stunk of sewage we then complained the manager was rude to us with this we left the hotel . We were extremely disappointed. We eventually got some of our money back but this was extremely difficult and very stressful

This property is the worst! No one was there to check us in. Waited 30 minutes then a girl strolled in saying she was at the “other property”. Bathroom door broken, washer and dryer didn’t work, desk chair broke while my husband was sitting in it, sending him to the floor. Garbage in hallway. Balcony filthy. Staff was uncooperative and refused to give us information so we could talk to management. The clerk we were talking with, turned away and walked out the door saying “my shift is over”. I highly recommend you remove this place from your list.

My absolute new go to while staying in Sydney. The front desk is the best. Emily does everything to make you welcomed.

Furama Darling Harbour was an amazing hotel. It is beautiful and recently renovated. I loved the security of the elevators needing you to swipe your key to move up to your floor. The staff were very kind and helpful. Everything was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Sydney.
