Nicely appointed hotel with access to Victoria station from the lobby. The room didn’t seem to cool enough and windows couldn’t open. Can’t comment on restaurants as didn’t eat in the hotel.

Walking distance to main streets. Quiet area.

An historic building in a great location, to be sure. But if I have to be honest, it was my worst sleep in 2 weeks of travel. The A/C was ineffective and recurring sounds of police or other emergency vehicles through the night ruined what could have been a very nice stay. We may have been upgraded to a larger room but the bathroom was minuscule and could accommodate one person only. Breakfast was fine but pricey. Would not stay here again.
