Excellent staff, location & room

Great location 5 mins walk from Bugis MRT with easy transfer to/from Changi Airport. This area - Kampung Glam/Sultan Mosque also great for local food options & shopping. The hotel itself is showing.definite signs of age. The first room (Superior) we were given on 14th floor next to the lift was fine but the bathroom was literally the size of a broom cupboard with a shower curtain about 30cm short of the shower train. We didn't bother unpacking & asked to be transferred to another room: Faris on reception desk was very helpful and reallocated us to Room 1101 with a great view over Kampung Glam. The inside of bathroom door was very tatty but the shower worked fine and the cubicle had a sliding glass door to contain the water. The pool area is lovely but the pool itself was less than pristine and would benefit from more regular cleaning. The breakfast at S$30 per person is definitely not worth the money - chicken nuggets were on offer one morning with eggs the only alternative protein option. Also a very limited selection of fresh fruits. At the local food outlets nearby S$30 bought breakfast for 2 people with far more choice. Overall we had a good stay and would likely stay again just for the location.

Every single staff member in the hotel were super helpful and friendly. Restaurant for breakfast was brilliant! Different stuff everyday and food was very good. In Room Dining with 24hr access is nice as well as the Club Lounge! Pools are nice and clean. They give a mean massage! All my knots are non existent thanks to May Li! When we wanted something different from room service they went the extra mile to get us food from Masella and deliver to our room thanks to the lovely waitress at the host desk! Overall stay was great, the rooms were always cleaned and beautifully presented, a lot of places are close by and easily accessible. I miss the hotel and people already! Will definitely be back!

The hotel is clean, washroom is clean. Staff are very friendly. Location is great for me near Maxwell MRT Station, near Chinatown and near Maxwell Food Center which is one of the Hawker Food Center in Singapore. Condiments on the fridge are free during our stay and they re-stock the fridge when you have the room cleaned. There are only minor things like, there are tea and coffee bags but there is no kettle provided maybe you can ask for it. I normally drink warm water in the morning. Room assigned to us does not have a window. Maybe when you book at this hotel request for room with a window. It is minor to us since we are out the whole day exploring. But the total stay is great on our 6-days stay.

Absolutely flawless. Great location, lovely spacious rooms with super comfy beds and excellent aircon. Staff wonderful and the the property was in excellent condition. It was a very special stay - our second stay and will not be the last. Highly recommended 10/10.
