Sherwood Island State Park Romantic Holidays

I asked to skip House keeping one day and they skipped the entire 3 day stay instead. I called and asked, they said they would send someone but it didn’t happen. Air con in rooms sounds like a freight train is coming through. Walks are thin, could hear someone’s TV blaring in another room. Food is mediocre. Rooms are cool, pool is a nice amenity but it’s not an earth shattering experience. Front desk staff was helpful with a few requests I made. Served its purpose.

The recently renovated rooms are ok, but unfortunately we were assigned one that is either in the process of being updated

Good breakfast bar, pleasant staff, clean and spacious rooms.

It was very clean, the staff were great and the food was delicious. Great place to stay.

Overall everything was great! The hotel listened to our request on having a room far away from the elevator.
