I had a very comfortable stay at the Mandarin Oriental Pudong. The rooms are spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety and consistently high quality. Service throughout was outstanding – attentive, professional, and always helpful.
Transport was the only real challenge. There’s no metro nearby, and during peak hours many taxi drivers don’t want to cross the river. I found the ferry to be the best option – quick, reliable, and a nice way to get across.
Overall, the hotel delivers on luxury and service. If comfort, great food, and top-class hospitality are your priorities, it’s an excellent choice.
