My new go-to in Shanghai. The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, the view is cool, and above all, it has a well-equipped gym with a proper weightlifting platform. The pool and the spa are also cool add ons.

Beautiful rooms with great views (if you go for a river view). Location not perfect though as not many restaurants or shops around and we needed to keep crossing the river which is not that easy due to the traffic.

Breakfast was just ok in terms of choices. But what they had was good.
All you can eat hairy crab dinners is very popular with the locals. Hotel gets have pref and discount.

"My favourite hotel in town nowadays. The hotel is quite old and the amenities aren't top. The gym or the pool are all quite boring and mediocre. But this place has this unique charm that no one can match. It is beautiful. And I stay here just for the ambiance."
