Illin Island Romantic Holidays

This was my third stay at the property and as always Mel and the team excel at providing the best service in Manila. Great apartments in a great location whether you’re staying local to the area or exploring further afield. Mel and the team make everything easy from start to finish whilst making you feel really welcome. Looking forward to staying again in 9 weeks and many more times to come!!

Large hotel and very helpfull staff and so strongly recommended as a hotel visit. Some of the rooms are in need of refurbishing to bring hotel up to night standard

I made 3 different bookings with The Alpha Suites within the 17 days of our vacation to the Philippines. The 1st booking was for 3 nights which was good overall. The 2nd booking was for an overnight stay. We washed our clothes but couldn't dry because the dryer was not working. Had to wait a few hours to get the dryer replaced so it ruined our plan for that day. Also, the bathroom vent was very loud. The 3rd/final booking was for 3 nights. It was a disaster. We found so many tiny bugs on our bed. Thought it was just the bedding but even after the bedding was changed, the bugs kept re-appearing. We had to move to another apartment that night. My kids were already asleep. They were not happy to wake up, get up to pack and move to another apartment but we had to do it. The 2 bedroom apartment was good. We loved the space, the views and the location. The staff were very kind and helpful. Although the manager at the end of our stay gave us a free ride to the airport and knocked off bills to compensate for the inconvenience about the bugs situation but the inconvenience we experienced during our 2nd and 3rd booking has ruined part of our vacation. You'd think, we will be given an apartment better than the 1st, then 2nd, then the 3rd stay as we have shown loyalty to the hotel. It was disappointing that our apartment started to be good, to bad, to worse. The management could use a thorough inspection of the apartment before they put guests in so any inconvenience could be avoided.

The EG staff are very helpful and excellent with their work. Our rooms are clean and aesthetic. The place is close to restaurant and shopping centre, where easy to go around and navigate the area. If there’s a chance will stay again and recommend the place. Thank you for the service!

Found oily spots on the floor and mini-fridge not working.
