Very interesting hotel and location of the hotel. Close to shore walking, dining, sidewalk market (Fr -Su), ferry terminal. Pleasant and helpfull staff. No elevator, but staff helps with luggage up and down the stairs. We liked it very much.

Staff polite and helpful. My issue was the room. Bathroom had black mould (are cleaners not supplied with bleach?). Once you got past the uncomfortable pillows (I know firmness/ softness differs from person to person), you were then hit with a sweat smell. I did have a mix up with breakfast (my fault) and they did comp that.

We stayed here for one night and would not want to stay for longer due to the noise from surrounding bars/entertainment which went on until 3am. The room was large with a huge en-suite but needs to be renovated due to deteriorating/broken floor tiles.
Could not fault the friendly helpful staff.
