A stunning boutique resort that is very quiet and set in a lovely location. Immaculate gardens and wonderful beach front pool and dining. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was really exceptional, but if you want shopping and nightlife this is not the area. If you seek a stunning small resort and romantic environment...this is perfect.

Our stay at Kalandara Resort in Lombok was truly breath-taking. We chose this resort for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation—we did not regret our decision for a single moment. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Little touches like slippers, Crocs for the infinity pool, and a Bluetooth speaker added a special charm to our experience and made our stay feel even more luxurious and personal. What really made our time unforgettable was the staff. Every single member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The food was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and with great variety. The portions were generous, and we’re pretty sure we left having gained a few happy pounds! The resort itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. We truly miss our time at Kalandara Resort and would return in a heartbeat. I loved this property so much. The staff are very kind and friendly people, the breakfast was always fresh and tasted so good, the location was perfect as I had a huge suitcase, it wasn't too far from the harbour. The room I stayed in was immaculate. I would stay here again.

Everything about our stay was INCREDIBLE! Would definitely recommend. We loved: • Both pools • Private beach on site with sunset views • Swim up bar • Great rooms pool view so convenient • staff was super helpful, friendly and amazing I forgot my charger and adapter and they are even helping me get it shipped by fast boat back to me. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel. Two things I would like to mention though: Animal lovers: The hotel is a 30 minutes walk from the pier. If you have ethical issues with using the horses to bring your luggage the walk with luggage is gruelling in the heat. We did it and it was not fun. Hopefully they come up with an alternative like porters or wheel barrow porters like in Brazil. Swimming enthusiasts: The beach is very shallow with coral pieces all over. Bring water shoes. They have a sister property with beautiful easily accessible to swim white sand beaches near the pier but no sunset. You can rent a bike a go swim there for f you’d like during your stay like we did.

Our highlights were the lobster catching and cooking class with Catur as well as the massages from Sari were out of this world, we can only recommend the traditional massage.
