The room was really nice & had everything we needed! The only thing I wasn’t really fond of was the TV situation - it was share screen & I’ve never done that before. I’m just used to picking a channel & going about my day. But honestly we were out so much that it didn’t really matter. The breakfast options were so good too! I’m so glad I picked this hotel.

This hotel was absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended for those looking for a 5 star experience in Tokyo. The garden was also very cool!

Hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Staff were welcoming, the lobby always smelled so good, there’s a convince store attached for snacks or drinks, the train station is a 2 minute walk away, the rooms are spacious, the bathtubs in the room are huge, they provide so many amenities, it was so luxurious. I looked forward to coming back at the end of the day after spending the days in the city. I will definitely be back!

The room was spotless with clean pyjamas every night. The staff were courteous & professional. We enjoyed the tea service, the massage chairs and the quiet relaxation areas. Very very pleased that we chose this hotel for our stay.

Check in and out was quick. Room was clean and the room service is great. I requested for dehumidifier and shower cap, it came quite quickly even though it was in the evening. The next day they gave me another shower cap automatically. Also, the taxis are readily available there even early in the morning. I really liked my stay but wish I had more time to try out more facilities.

I miss those gardens, they were beautiful! Great room, location, staff. A wonderful experience!

Hotel was more for business travelers but good to visit some temples and small dining area and shopping. It’s quite far from most tourist spots. Hotel was clean and had large unusually large rooms for Japan.

Nice room, helpful staff, good restaurant

Check-in/Check-out: This was very straightforward and quick. The staff made it very easy to get checked in and out smoothly. Location: The location is less than a minute from a train which was great to get around when we needed to. It was also close to a lot of fun shopping areas, places to eat, and not too far of a walk from a great park. Room: The room was spacious for Tokyo for sure. Plenty of space, the bathroom was awesome, and we had no problems making ourselves at home. It was very clean and when it was cleaned it was spotless all over again. Staff: The staff was very helpful. We asked for recommendations on places to eat and they gave us great suggestions. I also asked ahead of time about how to most efficiently check out and get to the airport and they were very helpful. Food: While it is close to a lot of places to eat it also has a great restaurant in the building. We ate breakfast both days we stayed and it was fantastic both times. I would recommend getting that. We also had dinner there one night and it was so good. Definitely worth it if you aren't feeling like going out. Overall/Value for money: We stayed at a cheaper place before this and The Gate Hotel was us splurging for our last two nights to do something different. We probably couldn't have afforded to stay here our whole trip but it was great for those two days. If you are like us and trying to stay a little cheaper give this a shot to end your trip. It was worth the money to experience.
