If your traveling with suitcases it's not going to be easy to get it the property. Very difficult to locate correct entrance with ramp( several to climb ) Otherwise once you're in it's amazing location and apartment is great. I wouldn't bother with free breakfast if your coming from West.

It is a great hotel for the price. Yes, the room needs renovation but the location is great. The rooftop bar is better the the City Garden Grand hotel and I’m Hotel that are across the street. The breakfast is fantastic. It is better than the City Garden Grand hotel in taste and quality. Compared to I’m Hotel. More selection and choices. Overall, the front desk staff is very professional unlike St. Giles hotel that is next to City Garden Makita hotel. St. Giles front desk staff are unprofessional when you have an issue with hotel such breakfast being charged when it should be included when you booked. Also, charge on towel and bedsheet when there are minor stain already there. St. Giles does not accept any blames in their policy. Whereas City Garden Makita will try to resolve issues when arise.Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The overall environment didn’t feel welcoming. My wife and I were directed to exit through a revolving door when there is a double exit door out of the lobby with an employee standing there opening the door for exiting patrons. At the time I didn’t question the employees directions. But later after thinking about it, I didn’t understand why he directed my wife and I out the revolving door when we exited the lobby for our GRAB ride. Customer service definitely lacking with this perceived disparity in treatment
