Noisy room on the ground floor. You could hear every word if someone walked by and the generator from the parking lot across the street kept we awake half of the night. Definitely not what I expect from a RIU Hotel. Very disappointed. Maybe you should invest in new windows. However, location and breakfast were great.

The staff was excellent, not one bad thing to say. The property was run down and the room was in dire need of a remodel. If I was coming here for a romantic getaway I would have been very disappointed. But, I was here with kids, the lobby was great with all of the toys and smores. It was a solid 3, good but not great. Good for families, not good for romance.

The hotel itself was nice in appearance, but overall, the stay was uncomfortable. The beds felt old and left me with back pain each morning. Several things in the room were in need of repair, including the walls, toilet, and electrical outlets. On a positive note, the TV had cable, which I appreciated, and the AC worked well. However, the air coming from the unit had a strong, unpleasant odor—like dirty towels and feet—which made it hard to relax in the room. It’s important to note that the hotel does not offer food room service or daily housekeeping unless requested. When I did request cleaning, the staff was very thorough, and I really appreciated the effort they put into tidying up the room. Unfortunately, the linens were not great. The sheets and towels were very scratchy, and I ended up buying a blanket during my stay because the hotel’s irritated my skin. Overall, while the hotel has potential, there are several areas that need attention and improvement to make it a more comfortable experience for guests.
