Southern Suburbs Kid friendly Holidays

We had a very comfortable stay at this Mt Waverley townhouse and were extremely happy with the accommodation. The property was clean, spacious, well presented and had everything we needed for an extended stay. It felt very much like a home rather than temporary accommodation. The location was excellent — quiet and convenient, with easy access to shops, transport and surrounding areas. The townhouse itself was comfortable, practical and well maintained, with plenty of space to relax. Communication was also easy and straightforward, and everything about the stay went smoothly. We genuinely enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended.

The Gateway was wonderful, and this is the second time I’ve used it. I’m in a wheelchair and use the disability friendly room. It is 20 minutes into Melbourne half an hour away from the puffin Billy in Dandenongs and one hour away from the Yarra Valley. The room was serviced daily and bottled water was supplied. The manager was very helpful. I recommend this Hotel very highly and will be back. Continental breakfast was supplied daily. It certainly is a boutique hotel with lovely finishings.

Older room, heating was good. Fine for a one night stay only.

It’s not really a hotel—more like a motel—but it wasn’t bad. It was good value for the price.

The room was comfortable and I had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had many of the necessary amenities. I missed having a microwave in the room.
