Whitsunday Island Kid friendly Holidays

Palm Bay was a beautiful location to spend our honeymoon. Staff were very friendly, so many national park trails to walk, plenty of places to snorkel and high quality food from the restaurant. We loved going out on the supplied paddle boards to check out coral or watch the sunset. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice place to relax and be in nature!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want the things it offers. The list includes being a small resort, limited to 20 people in 10 villas, brilliant staff who constantly go above and beyond to care for you, excellent food, and peace and quiet. This is a remote island location with no shops or alternative entertainment, but a real community feel, personal relationships with staff and guests. There are good kayaks etc to go out to see the local turtles, but just the one 2k walking track up into the hills. It is rough ground, steep in places, not suitable for running, but brilliant for working up a sweat to combat the fabulous eating every day. Loved the 5.30 meeting around the fire pit for pre-dinner drinks and canapés! We stayed 10 days - longer than most - and were ready to return to reality afterwards, but can’t recommend Elysian enough….provided you want what it offers Huge thanks to Charlton whose intervention sorted out a huge with the resort where we were originally booked.

The island is so cute and peaceful. The resort is perfectly situated at the ferry dock and you can stay inside the resort until the ferry pulls in which is nice if it's raining. The resort is perfect for a short visit, the food was good and the amenities were perfect for a relaxing break. The free use of snorkeling gear is a nice touch as you can see their newly grown reef right from the beach. The wallaroos are so cute wandering around and you can feed them. I believe most ferries stop at daydream and go to Airlie or Hamilton and on to Whitsunday island so it is very convenient to get on and off the island. Overall would recommend the resort for a nice get away.

We had the most amazing stay at Mirage Whitsundays! Our room was absolutely beautiful and honestly even better than the pictures. The views were incredible, and waking up to them every morning was just breathtaking. The apartment was spacious, beautifully presented and had everything we could have asked for. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% recommend Mirage Whitsundays. We can’t wait to come back! 🤍🌴✨

Clean with comfy beds & everything you need for a comfortable stay. Spectacular views & walking distance to town, beach, coffee & shopping. Fantastic property .. will come again.
