Phuket Province Kid friendly Holidays

The gardens were beautiful. The location is amazing. The staff are lovely. The food is good, pizzas are great at Caio. It's a nice mix of relaxing but close to the action. Great with kids, our 7 year old loved the slides.

The NY dinner was good but the bar drinks were not good at all. They should hire some real bartenders that know how to make drinks. Also the music was not good, they should get an updated playlist with better dance music.

The hotel is a little distance from Patong Beach (although the hotel provides a shuttle bus). The hotel does not have its own beach. The hotel is beside a highway, and there are only a few restaurants nearby. It sounds as if this is not the best holiday hotel choice,right? But you just need to check in.Then you will find that this is a surprisingly good hotel.Because the hotel is located on the hillside, the sea view is very spectacular. The staff are all friendly and always have a smile.With a person with limited mobility the front desk team Joe Sordy and LOH took extra care of us. And lovely Ms.Noodang at breakfast restaurant was so kind to us.She not only explained everything in detail. And make sure our table is clean and the cups are full.She also took the initiative to recommend us and sent us the special dessert of the day. Then let's talk about the breakfast.Hotels in Thailand have never short of a good breakfast.But the breakfast at Kalima is unbelievable.Whether it is the variety or the quality of food.For example you may find bubble breakfast in many hotels.But Kalima take it to an other level.You can even make your own highball here.Such a good breakfast plus a good view what else could you ask for a holiday?

Hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Hotel was cleaned throughout the day and good free breakfast buffet.

We stayed as a family of four in the family suite. And although the hotel offers and promotes a child friendly hotel, I assure you it is not. Pros: The hotel room was always clean, spacious and very nice. The ocean was very close. Cons: 1) The food options was extremely limited and mediocre. The Beach Grill had lukewarm wine and worse then fast food lunch. And the restaurant in the hotel was meh, overpriced for what you are offered. 2) The pool was freezing, unsafe and dirty. My son and I slipped on the black tile surrounding the pool at least 4 times. Not sure why you would have slippery tile surrounding all the pools. Almost no one was swimming the two days we tried the pool. Overall its not a hotel i would book for a family, the staff at times were friendly and at times not. In a location that has limited activities, entertainment and good food, id say its not a worth hotel to stay at.
