We spent one night on our way to the airport. Two things to note: the hotel is right beside a very busy train track. If you are a light sleeper, then you should absolutely bring earplugs. Secondly, it costs 15 pounds to park overnight as the car park is privately operated. It's the first time I experience that, and given the price we paid for the hotel for one night I found it usurious. It is also not disclosed until after you book.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Problem with fan fixed promptly. Breakfast was good, great selection plus table service.

Top notch location! Lovely place

The Bruntsfield has been a well established hotel for many many years in the area of Bruntsfield. The ambience, the location, the beautiful park (the Links), the comfortable room with excellent amenities .. I could go on. I rate this hotel very highly indeed. There are lots of little shops, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Princes Street is less than 10 minutes away by bus.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is located in a nice area with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as bus stops.
