Nice and clean, good bathroom, comfy beds. Lifts were a real pain and car park was tight but other than that was an easy and pleasant stay.

This is an older hotel. I had an “executive 1 bedroom apartment”. The executive bit refers to a higher floor and a “balcony”. I was in the 17 th floor but there was still substantial street noise. The “balcony is the width of the air con unit at the widest; not an effective balcony to have a coffee or wine on.The apartment was well equipped but I had a problem and tried to contact the front desk at around 8 PM. No one was at the desk and despite repeated attempts no one answered the phone. The bed was reasonably comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with hobs a dishwasher, oven, small microwave and small (not full size) fridge, the air con was effective. The room is a bit shabby, some of the cabinets are chipped, the furniture is generally cheap quality. The wifi was good but there are no usb ports. there were stains on the sofa that deterred me from sitting. I could not work out how to get the news from the TV since every channel that I tried was not available. Another issue that could have been solved if reception had answered the phone. Staff try very hard to be pleasant but I would not stay again.

Great stay in the centre of town. Easily walkable to waterfront. Good bus transport links locally. Room clean, beds extremely comfortable, decor slightly dated (but is called the heritage hotel). Had good weather so only used roof top gym and pool/hot tub, great facilities. Didn’t go to the indoor facilities so can’t comment. Had a couple of technical issues with the booking but was sorted promptly by friendly staff. Staff also able to give good local advice and knowledge. Restaurant (run separately to hotel) was not open whilst we were there, shame we weren’t able to grab a coffee/something to get within hotel but lots of local options. Would stay again.

Clean suite, super comfy beds and fluffy towels. Great facilities the kids loved the pool, mini golf and table tennis. Great location for easy access to all the sights and activities plus supermarket. Would definitely come back. Thanks

Gorgeously decorate, super clean, cool and comfy room with lovely touches (like the radio on to welcome us, great bathroom products, delicious tea and coffee). Friendly staff and beautiful bar.
